Repairing the Old or Building the New,
NASCAR Stays on Track
Every
NASCAR team uses its own strategy to build winning racecars,
but Hendrick Motorsports and Robert Yates Racing employ truly
unique processes. At Hendrick and Yates, teams build their
own racecars in house, and each rely on Bernard Q-Guns™ and Centerfire™ consumables
to weld the thousands of components and subassemblies.

Upgraded Q-Gun Back End Increases Durability
Learn
how you can reduce your welding downtime and associated labor
costs with Bernard's Q-Gun and upgraded back end assembly.
The upgraded back end assembly provides greater strain relief
with fewer parts, making changeovers quick and easy. The
power pins (excluding Bernard and Euro) have male threads,
allowing welding operators to twist them in and out of the
adapter block of the redesigned strain relief. For reduced
downtime, power pin bushings integrate into the back end
assembly to allow for faster, easier changeovers of direct
plugs. Read how you can benefit by using the Q-Gun
with upgraded back end assembly.

Centerfire Streamlines Inventory Management
If
you use several different brands of MIG guns in your shop,
consider using Centerfire consumables. Compatible with brands
such as Tweco®, Lincoln®, Miller®, Tregaskiss® and
Binzel®, Centerfire consumables can reduce the number
of parts in your shop. That means you'll spend less time
matching parts to guns and more time welding.
