Part Numbers

Bernard CustomSelect™ Air-Cooled Automatic MIG Torches are easily ordered by building a part number which describes the torch, cable options and front-end consumables. You can use the options shown on this page to custom-design a 400 or 600 Amp, air-cooled automatic MIG torch to suit your specific needs.

The 11-digit part number shown above, AQT6060BIAA, is an example of a typical configuration. It consists of the following items: a Q-Gun style, air-cooled, automatic torch with a 60", 600 amp cable, a Bernard direct plug, a 3.60" torch body, a short 30º articulated body tube, and standard set of consumables.

If necessary, you can expand your choice of front-end consumables well beyond the standard sets. The steel liner can also be exchanged for a composite liner that is better suited for welding aluminum, titanium and other alloys. Standard cable lengths are shown at left. Specify custom lengths in inches. 3'-0" minimum to 25'-0" maximum. Limit lengths to even six-inch increments.

Tolerance on assembled cable length is ±2" (50.8 mm).

Standard torch bodies are available for use with or without cable.

When ordering a torch without cable, be aware that Euro Direct and NA3 or NA4 add 1 3/4" to the overall torch length.

Custom length torches may be ordered according to the size range at left in 1/2 inch increments. Specify length in inches.
